The venues
Birmingham covers a wider range of venue types than anywhere else in the UK. The NEC is the country's largest exhibition centre with 18 halls; the ICC is a city-centre conference venue with very different access constraints; and there are smaller city venues that suit product launches and corporate events rather than trade shows.
Those are three different building problems. A stand designed for an NEC hall cannot simply be carried into the ICC, because the access routes and loading arrangements are not comparable.
What being close actually changes
Proximity is not a marketing line on a build day. At 10 minutes, a replacement part, a reprinted graphic or an extra pair of hands arrives inside half an hour. A contractor travelling from London or the North West is committing to a round trip measured in hours, and either prices that risk into the quote or absorbs it as contingency you paid for anyway.
It also changes what is possible during the show itself, not just build-up. Damage on day one is recoverable when the workshop is down the road.

Are you based in Birmingham?
Our workshop is in North Warwickshire, Warwickshire, about 10 minutes from the NEC.
Do you only work in the Midlands?
No. We install across the UK and internationally - the client list spans the UK and globally, including back-to-back roadshows across Europe. The Midlands is simply where we are closest.
