This policy is a draft prepared for review. It has not been checked by a solicitor. Sovereign Exhibitions should confirm every statement below is accurate before relying on it.
This policy explains what personal information Sovereign Exhibitions & Events collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website only.
Sovereign Exhibitions & Events, Unit 1, Arley Industrial Estate, Colliers Way, Arley, Coventry CV7 8HN, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here.
For any question about this policy, or to make a request about your information, email hello@sovereignexhibitions.co.uk or call +44 (0) 1676 549000.
Our contact form asks for your name, email address and your message, and optionally a subject and phone number. We use this only to answer you and to carry on the conversation if it becomes a project. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us to get in touch, and replying is what you would expect.
Enquiries arrive in our shared company mailbox and are kept as long as they are commercially useful — an enquiry that becomes a project is kept for the life of the working relationship and for six years afterwards, in line with the usual limitation period. An enquiry that goes nowhere is deleted once it is clearly dead.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
The site loads fonts and icon files from third-party services, and the LinkedIn posts shown on our homepage are embedded from LinkedIn. Those providers may set their own cookies and see your IP address when their content loads. We do not control what they collect; their own privacy policies apply.
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and, where enabled, for analytics that tell us which pages are read. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop the site working.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it only with the suppliers who help us run the business — our website host, our email provider and, where relevant, our accountants — and only so far as they need it. If we are ever required to disclose information by law, we will.
If the business is sold or transferred, enquiry records may pass to the buyer as part of the business. Any buyer would be bound by this policy for information collected under it.
Our website and email are hosted on servers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where a supplier transfers information outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards in UK data protection law.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email hello@sovereignexhibitions.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date below.
